Held at Shangri-La Singapore, GOED Exchange is a leading international forum focused on EPA and DHA Omega-3 nutrition. Organised by GOED, the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s, the conference brings together organisations from across the value chain to share scientific research, market developments, regulatory updates and future opportunities for the industry.
As a Platinum Sponsor, Seawit was pleased to support the exchange of ideas on Omega-3 innovation and global industry cooperation.
Our team met with partners, researchers and customers from more than 30 countries. Topics included ingredient development, supply chain resilience, sustainability and changing consumer needs.
Seawit also contributed to a dedicated forum on supply chain challenges and opportunities, sharing its approach to collaborative innovation across the Omega-3 industry.
Working closely with research institutions, manufacturing partners and customers helps Seawit develop lipid solutions for changing nutritional needs while maintaining product quality and performance.
A key scientific session at GOED Exchange 2026 was presented by Professor Kaisa Linderborg of the University of Turku, Finland. Her presentation, “Omega-3s as a 3D Concept,” explored the importance of molecular structure in Omega-3 nutrition.
The session looked at how the position of DHA within triglycerides may affect digestion, absorption and metabolism. Research presented at the conference indicated that DHA at the SN-2 position may offer advantages in digestive stability and nutrient utilisation compared with other molecular structures.
Professor Linderborg also referred to Seawit’s work on SN-2 DHA and recognised the company’s contribution to the research and industrial development of structured lipid technologies. Her comments reflected the growing scientific interest in SN-2 DHA and the value of cooperation between academic research and industry.
GOED Exchange also provided valuable opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and build new relationships across the industry.
